Anonymous118 1.Picture Book- A book that tells the story with almost all pages as pictures. 2.Story – an adventure, funny, sad, fantasy or science fiction story (with or without pictures) 3.Poetry- at least twelve lines . The poem does not need to have a traditional rhyming form Poems do not need to have pictures.
Anonymous118 Rules: Must be original work by the one child. No inappropriate language to be used. Judge’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into. Corrections (grammar only) may be made by an adult after the child has written the entire story or poem. The original uncorrected or corrected page(s) must be submitted ie not rewritten. Anonymous132 We are so chuffed to receive such quality riting from senior students! The competition has been extended to April 31st to enable primary educators to send in their students applications. Not many have attempted the picture book so there is a real possibility of winning that category and that is the biggest prize!. Good luck to those who enter.

Else K I had a wonderful chat with the guys and gals at a "Toast for Children" planning group meet. YES we were socially distancing.: ) Toast for Children is a Tassie Charity that gives a bit of brekky to needy kids at school and is majorly concerned with not only the welfare of children but also thier academic and literacy welfare.
